Outlook 2003 - How do I export info regarding categories?

Hello. Let's say I have some contacts in Outlook that I've assigned to a
category. (They are not in a distribution group.)

1. How do I print a list of those in one category?

2. What if I wanted to print labels for those in the category?

I know if I export from Outlook and into Excel, I can use the spreadsheet to
format a mail merge into labels or letters in Word.

3. Is there a way to do the same thing without exporting entire contact list
and only getting those in a certain category.

4. If categories aren't the best way to do these things, what should I be
doing going forward?

1) Apply a view which filters that category;
View-> Arrange By-> Custom...
or if you intend to reuse that view define a new one;
View-> Arrange By-> Current View-> Define Views

2) Once you've applied the view choose Tools-> Mail Merge...
After that, follow on-screen instructions

4) No, categories work great for this purpose.
