My outlook has slowed down opening an e-mail to the point that it takes
several minutes. Also when I type a "reply" it is very slow. This started
about 2 weeks ago and is getting worse. I have been running 2003 for about
two years. I have run "repair" and it does not help. What is happening???

What is the size of the pst?
Is it a unicode format pst or old format from a previous version of OL
You've tried running the inbox repair tool scanpst.exe several times on the
pst?

I don't know the size. Where do I find it and what size should it be? I
went to the add/remove programs and ran the repair for the whole outlook
program. Whre do I find or obtain scampst.exe? Thanks for your interest and
help.

The above link & site will give details of the repair tool & how to locate
the pst

There is no default size for the pst (data file) but if it is an old, pre
2003 unicode pst, problems can occur once over 1.6gb
The OL2003 unicode pst does not have this problem
