I have Outlook 2003 installed (along with Business
Contact Manager) on my new Dell Latitude D600 Laptop. The
problem is when I try and forward some HTML (Square
Trade) emails, Outlook freezes and never comes back. I've
checked the processes running; Outlook(~9,000KB) and
Winword (~41,000KB!!) are running. Word seems to be
unusually high memorywise, and no Word screens are
available, not even the forwarded email... I've tried
restarting, retrying, reinstalling, and even getting the
latest patches with no luck at all in fixing the problem.
This is VERY annoying... can anyone help?

It sounds as if you are using Word as your email editor.
Go to tools -> options -> mail format. Uncheck "Use
microsoft word to edit email messages."
See if that works.
Phasers on stun, good luck, Kirk out.

Do they have a lot of images in them and do you have images blocked? If so,
try opening the message, showing images and then forward.

Or Tools, options, email options, set OL to read all messages as plain text
and forward it as plain text. (You can change individual messages to HTML
from the infobar)
