Outlook 2003 formatting issue after SP3

Ever since I installed the SP3 for Office, I no longer have the capability to
use my mouse for fomatting in Outlook or WORD 2003. For example when I am in
either program, I used to be able to use my mouse and highlight a word or
phrase for one reason or another. Now I have to use my keyboard to do all of
it. The only time my mouse is any good is when I click to "send" or in word
when I want to save or use any other function.

Can someone please help me!!!! I have tried troubleshooting with the
website as well, but this is not an issue they cover at all!!!! Help me
please!!
 
Several times. I just uninstalled SP3 and now I will reinstall. Any other
ideas?

none, other than reinstalling the mouse software. The mouse is not normally
affected by an upgrade, so redoing SP3 is probably the better option.
