Outlook 2003: Follow Up and Reminder Flags

What is the difference between these two flags.

When using the Follow up flag, I see it changes coor in the recipient's
inbox when the follow-up date arrives, yet it is not included in my own
follow-up folder. Why is that?

Because when you send a message to someone else with a Follow Up flag on it,
Outlook assumes you want the reminder to go to them, not to you. If you want
it to go to you, assign the flag after you send the message...or better yet,
create a task, since reminders only fire from the default Inbox, Calendar,
Contacts and Tasks folders unless you use a 3rd party add-in.
