Outlook 2003, Folder View, Calendar

When using the folder view in Outlook 2003 (all updates are installed) I get
a small calendar at the top of the folder listing when ever I click on a
calendar. This happens if I click on my calendar, a calendar in another
mailbox or a public folder calender. I use the 31 day view so this mini
calendar is not needed and when that mini calendar opens it shifts the whole
folder list down.

Is there anyway to turn this off? I looked through the options and could
not find anything...

Thanks.

As far as I can tell, there's no way to turn off the Date Navigator

I could not find any setting to turn it off, I was just hoping that there was
a registry change but I doubt it. Thanks.

there is no registry key - you can close it on the left when you open the
taskpad on the right though - and you can adjust the task pad not to show
the calendar.

oops... I lied - you can move the nav calendar to the right but always have
to have one showing on the right to prevent it from showing on the left.

The only way to hide it is to switch to a view that doesn't contain it, like
the Mail view, and then switch back to the Folder List view.

Thanks. The task pad is an improvement. I wish I could turn off the task
pad as well as I don't use that.

You can drag the divider between the Date Navigator and the TaskPad all the
way down to hide the TaskPad.
