Outlook 2003 'file as' option

Jusr recently upgraded from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003.
Previously, all contacts were filed as lastname, firstname
and sync'd appropriately. After upgrade, new names are
listed firstname, lastname (note comma placement). I have
verified that lastname, firstname options are all turned
on in outlook address books and default 'file as' order.
I can force the comma placement, but when I sync, the name
still shows Bill, Smith, filed on the palm in the B's.
Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

This is a function of your synchronization software.
Check your Contacts conduit settings for a File As
option...
