outlook 2003 error

When I try to open outlook 2003 getting an error" Cannot start Microsft
office outlook MAPI32.DLL si corrupt or the wrong version. This could have
been caused by installing other messaging softwar. please reinstall Outlook"
What is the reason for this, how can I fix it and open outlook 2003. I am
running Windows XP Prefessional.

You had 2003 Outlook but you installed 2007 Office. The MAPI dll is the 2007
version

Re-installing Office won't do anything. You need to remove Office, reboot &
re-install.
