Hi,

Almost everytime I close Outlook 2003 it sends an error report to MS. The
contents are too lengthy to post here, and I've given up looking at every
one that gets sent.

I can post the report but dunno if it contains any sensitive
material...please advise.

Any ideas?

TNX.
Rob

Well, there isn't much specific info we can offer with that information, and
I don't think the crash reports will help us (tho I'm sure they do help MS),
but let me suggestion:

1. Run Detect & Repair on Outlook (Help menu)
2. Run SCANPST.EXE against your data file.
3. Do you have any add-ins installed for Outlook? (tools | options | other |
advanced | Add-in Manager)
4. Which anti-virus software are you running?
5. When did this problem start?

None. Wait: Exchange Extensions properties pages (?) and Fax Server
Extensions
Com Addins: QBCM Outlook Add In (?)

Not sure what any of them are, and I haven't installed my modem yet for the
windows fax.

CA EzTrust

| 5. When did this problem start?

hmmmm...since I installed Outlook 2003 on this new machine XP Pro...back in
July/August...It's always happened but it's only a minor
annoyance/curiousity, so I hadn't spent any time on solving it.

Only happens when I'm shutting down Outlook.
Sometimes it *seems* to happen when I switch back and forth between OE and
OL. I use OE for Usenet ngs only.

Thanks!

Rob

Your .PST file which is the data store for Outlook (unless you're using an
Exchange server).

I'd leave the first enabled, I guess, and try disabling the other two and
see if that helps. Especially that third one.

CA EzTrust

O.K., if nothing else helps you might try temporarily disabling that and see
if the problem goes away. Just as a test.

Ben,

So far Scanpst.exe seems to have fixed it. It found 30 errors and repaired
them all...so far so good!

TNX !!
