Outlook 2003: Error Message Searching Personal Folders

N

NinaCO

I'm suddenly unable to search my personal folders in Outlook 2003. The
error message is: "There are too many public folder dialogs open. You must
close them to use the Advanced Find. Do you want to close them now?" (Error
is the same whether I use Find or Advanced Find.)

When I select "Yes" The new error message is "Outlook cannot perform your
search. Outlook cannot display this view. A folder by this name already
exists."

This occurs whenever I search any personal folder. (No error when I search
data that's stored on the Exchange server.)

Thanks for the help!

Dear friends, I also have that problem with the advanced find. The message
that appears is:

"Outlook cannot perform your search. Outlook cannot display this view. The
folder already exists"

The problem is that I received almost 200 e-mails a day and I won't be able
to go prioritize what e-mails to read first without the advanced find feature.

I tried with the outlook / cleanfinders instruction but the problem remains
the same. Please tell me what could I do?

Thank you so much,

Dahz
