Outlook 2003 Encrypted email--NOT!

Hi,

I am using Outlook 2003 and it won't send mail.

It will receive, but not send.

Each time I try to send, it won't go, and a message pops up
about sending an encrypted email message.

A 2nd popup says "Sending reported error (0x800CCC7D): Your outgoing
SMTP server does not support SSL-secured connections."

I have no clue what this means, nor how to undo it.

If it is encrypted, I don't know how it got that way.

How do I turn that off so the email will work?

I had this problem with Outlook 2000, upgraded to 2003, but the
problem did not go away.

Thanks in advance,

Allan

Thank you.

That fixed the 'no send' problem.

Unfortunately, now the email once sent vanishes. I tried 5 or 10
emails to myself, and don't know where they went.

Clicking on 'Send/Receive' doesn't retrieve them.

I opened the freeware backup--Mozilla Thunderbird--and they showed up
there, but Outlook 2003 would not fetch them.

Am narrowing this down.

Once I send an email, it disappears.

However - IF - I click on drop down Send/Receive, two options appear.

1 - All Accounts

2 - Earthlink Only

If I select Earthlink Only, then the email arrives.

How to make Outlook use Earthlink, and not All Accounts?

Thank you.
