Outlook 2003 Displays Removed Datafile

I removed a datafile from Outlook 2003, but the datafile still appears under
"All Mail Folders". Right mouse clicking on the folder results in properties
being grayed out; Close datafile results in error message "The operation
failed. An object could not be found."

I forgot to mention that the datafile cannot be expanded and it no longer
appears in datafile management. How do I get rid of this phantom datafile?

It's not clear what you did, but you appear to have corrupted your profile.
When you have an abandoned reference to a data file that you can't close,
you have to create a new profile. It's not really necessary to do so,
however, because the reference is harmless.

Thanks.
