Outlook 2003 desktop icon missing

When I installed Outlook 2003 (even did an uninstall/reinstall), there is no
desktop icon to configure profiles and open up the program itself. Any ideas
why?

Hi,
you have to do it in the registry
START | RUN | regedit
navigate to the following key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Deskto
p\NameSpace

Create a new key
(you can copy and paste the key into your registry)
{00020D75-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
