I have Outlook 2003 and IE7. Outlook crashes everytime I am writing an email
when a send/recieve takes place. I have saved the error signiture in case
that helps with anyone who has suggestions. I have uninstalled and
re-installed Outlook and it did not help.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

The error text would be helpful in troubleshooting. Can you post the text
given?

Here is the error text:

AppName: outlook.exe
AppVer: 11.0.90110.0
AppStamp: 43d16d53
ModName:mshtml.dll
ModVer: 7.0.5730.11
ModStamp: 45353e24
fDebug: 0
Offset:0022ffd7

I want to add to my description of this issue that if I change the format in
outlook to PLAIN TEXT instead of HTML, the application does not crash during
send/receive. Hope that helps. Thanks.

Start Outlook in safe mode (start > run > outlook.exe /safe > ok button).
This will help determine if there is a 3rd party program/addin interfering.

Thank you. I used the hold down the ctrl key option to start Outlook in safe
mode. Not sure what that does. How do I undo the SAFE MODE or does it undo
itself upon restart of the application? Also I noticed you mentioned program
add/in. I have an add-in that I have had for years. It is for my label
printer (Brother P-touch). I just uninstalled just the add-ins for it which
I never used anyway and so far it has fixed the problem (I was able to
recreate it consistantly). So if this works - thank you so much!! Please
let me know about the SAFE MODE.

Outlook should start normal the next time because you are not modifying any
of the shortcuts you have that start the program.
