Outlook 2003 closing

When I minimise Outlook 2003 it closes. Why? and how can I stop this action

Outlook 2003 can be set to minimize to system tray when minimized. That may
be what's happenign to your outlook.

When Outlook is opened, you'll see an icon for it in your system tray.
Right click on it and remove the check from 'Hide When Minimized'
