Outlook 2003 closes every time I launch

Every time I launch Outlook 2003 I get "microsoft outlook has encountered and
error and needs to close"
I have been trying to fix this for 2 days. I have read all the solutions to
others with this problem but they dont seem to work for me.

-I have done detect and repair from the installer
-I have uninstalled and reinstalled
-I have ran scanpst.exe and corrected errors
-disabled antivirus /spyware and tried to start
-Deleted extend.dat and outcmd.dat files
-created a new profile and tried to start outlook.

None of these solutions have worked. I have tried to start in safe mode
from the start>run window, and I get the same error.

I have mail files backed up on E:/ I don't know if this has anything to do
with the problem.
When I log in as the other user on the computer, I can run outlook just
fine. It doesnt work for my user though. Can anyone help me?

thanks,

Denise

I've been to that link below.. none of it seems to help. I think this is what
you're asking for:

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.6353.0, stamp 408f2937,
faulting module msmapi32.dll, version 11.0.6361.0, stamp 40da1177, debug? 0,
fault address 0x000219fb

Bucket 125220355, bucket table 1, faulting application outlook.exe, version
11.0.6353.0, stamp 408f2937, faulting module msmapi32.dll, version
11.0.6361.0, stamp 40da1177, debug? 0, fault address 0x000219fb.

does that tell you anything?

Could you post the Event type, source, category and ID as well?

Looking at some of the (old) information on this fault bucket, I think you
may have a corrupted profile. Have you been sending the error reports to
Microsoft? I don't see anything in that bucket more recent than Aug, 2004.
Could you start Outlook and make sure you send another report when it
crashes?

We'll get to a way to try and fix this in a bit, but first I'd like to dig
into what is actually wrong. Could you run regedit (see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;136393) - you're
not going to change anything, just export some information that I can
analyze. Navigate to the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Messaging Subsystem\Profiles

When you're there, can you right-click on the "Profiles" key, select
"Export", and export the key as a .txt file? Once you've done that, could
you send the file to me at (e-mail address removed) (remove the
'Xs' - they're to prevent spammers from harvesting my address from the
group)?

To try and get Outlook working again, create a new profile (see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;312354 - your
problem is different, but this tells you how to create a profile).

Thanks,
