Outlook 2003 Categories and Activesync

Background: I have a whole lot of contacts in Outlook 2003 (non-Exchange
environment) and many of them are categorized. I have version 4.5 of
ActiveSync on an XP machine. Smartphone with Windows Mobile Std 6

I want to synch only certain categories but when I select contacts to sync,
"settings" is not available. Is there a way to select categories to sync in
this setup so I'm not using more phone memory than I want for contacts that
aren't needed on the phone?

Not an Outlook question. All synchronization is handled by your sync
software, not Outlook. Post in group that supports your synch software.

microsoft.public.pocketpc.activesync would be the correct newsgroup, but no,
ActiveSync can't do that, as far as I can tell.
