Outlook 2003 Calendar has a mind of its own

No matter what I try to do I can't get an appointment on my calendar. I have
tried hotsyncing from my treo but even this won't work. Someone please help me
norm
 
Completely close Outlook and then restart. Does it work now?

Tried that 100 times and still nothing. My archive calandar will take it
