Outlook 2003 cached exchange mode

G

Guest

I was suffering problems with lots of dropping my connection to the net and
so switched on "cached exchange mode". Now I can't open Outlook but get a
message saying "Cannot start MS Office Outlook. Unable to open Outlook
window. The set of folders could not be opened. The server is not available."

Since I can't start Outlook I can't switch the cache mode off.

Any ideas.

You can always modify your account settings by going to Control Panel-> Mail

If you already have an ost-file configured for that profile rename it to
..old and have Outlook recreate it the first time you logon to Exchange. If
you are on a slow connection and have a big mailbox this could take a while.
