Outlook 2003 Business Contact Manager

Started getting a message when I clicked on a contact
under the Business Contact Manager. "The custom form
could not be openned. ...." After clicking ok, a box
appeared that said "array index - out of bounds" After
checking several kb articles I ran the DB manager and a
repair. Now the BCM is gone from the tool bar and the
folder list. I uninstalled the BCM and reinstalled it,
it is still not back. I then went to help and disabled
items, it is not there. I went to manage forms and the
business contact, business apt, etc are listed under
personal and when I click on business contact, I get the
same message, so I know some of the BCM is still loaded.
I now have KB articles 840778, 246995, and 836558 to
try. Any ideas would be helpful.

Running xppro attaching to W2003 SBS Exchange.

The original problem, is what's known as "forms cache" corruption. Clearing
the cache usually fixes it. Choose Tools | Options | Other | Advanced
Options | Custom Forms, then click Manage Forms, then Clear Cache. If simply
clearing the cache doesn't fix the issue, try the other steps detailed at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;836558

Also, applying Office 2003 SP1 is supposed to fix most of the forms cache
problems. There is also a separate SP1 for BCM.

Since you removed and reinstalled, you might need to add the registry value
that makes it work with SBS again.

If you don't see the Business Tools menu, BCM may have failed to load when
Outlook started. Run Regedit and go to the
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\Microsoft.BusinessSolutions.eC
RM.OutlookAddin.Connect.1 key. If the value for LoadBehavior is something
other than 3, make a backup of the registry, edit LoadBehavior to set it to
3, then restart Outlook.

FYI, there is a separate newsgroup for BCM issues --
microsoft.public.outlook.bcm
