Outlook 2003 blocks URLs from IE

Mr. Tim

I have a very frustrating problem. I installed Outlook 2003 on all 3
of my computers. Two computers were upgrades from Office 2000, one
was a fresh install. Only on the laptop will it block URLs or pages
we try to send from Internet Explorer's mail icon. Copy & paste work
fine but to my wife you might as well be asking her to walk 5 miles.

I've been through every setting on Outlook & IE but I cannot figure it
out. This is something my wife uses all the time so she's ready to
kill me for upgrading from Office 2000. (RANT) So many useful
features of Office 2000 went away with 2003. It was the second worst
upgrade (downgrade) I've ever made from Microsoft. WinME being the
worst!

Can anyone help me fix this. She is about to make me uninstall it.
Too bad MS won't give me any tech support without charging for it out
the *ss. Nor can I get my money back! Please help me!!

Microsoft gives you 2 free incidents with a new Office purchase (not sure
how many for Windows.) And, $35 is a very reasonable amount of money to
charge for support once you burn your free incidents. I personally charge
at least twice that in my private consulting.

See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/getexe.htm for ways to get the
attachments off. if she sends the URLs to others, I recommend using
mailto_url (linked at getexe.htm) instead of opening the security
settings.

For more information on the security features, see
