outlook 2003 archiving

i am unable to get outlook 2003 to archive individual
email files into specific archive files ie i have an email
folder called ~
"education" and i want to have an archive folder of the
same name for easy access to those specific archived
emails. i have set each folder to its specific setting but
my outlook does not archive anything at all. could anyone
advise me how to do this? VERY much appreciate it!!

Hi Dee,

When you archive messages in Microsoft Outlook, the date is actually determined from the message's modified date and time. This can be confusing when this date is different than the
sent date and time, or received date and time. For more information on how to check the modified date on your items, please refer to Knowledge Base article below.
