Outlook 2003 and Word

Since installing Outlook 2003, I no longer have the ability it seems to use
Word as the default mail editor (the option is greyed out) and as such,
cannot use the spell check as you type option (some users really want that
ability). We're using Word 2002, is this the cause? Will it only work
properly with Word 2003? If not, any ideas how to get it working?

Youc an only use Word as the email editor when Word and Outlook are the same
version (2003 in your case). Sorry.

only Word 2003 is compatible with Outlook 2003 as email editor.
