How can I get Word 2002 to be my Outlook 2003 editor?
After I installed Outlook 2003 as a separate program it
says it can't find Word and wants to use its own editor?
I have Windows XP Prof. as my operating system with
Office XP. Pleae don't tell me I have to purchase Office
2003 to use Word as my e-mail editor!!
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

You can't. Versions must match. Installing Outlook 2003 alone is never a
good idea.

Russ:
Rats. Guess that's Microsoft again. I'll have to go back
to Outlook XP (2002) and return Outlook 2003 to vendor.
Too bad, Outlook 2003 looked like a very good program but
need to edit in Word.

Outlook sold as a standalone should contain full warnings as to what
functions will be disabled if it is installed without upgrading the rest of
Office. I have no idea why that information is not made available.
