Outlook 2003 and Voice Modems

Are there any utilities that will let me use Outlook 2003 with a voice
modem? Outlook is much more capable than the answering machine software that
comes with most voice modems.

If so, can VBA be used to script incoming calls? I'd like certain calls to
hear specific messages. Anonymous calls would hear a message telling the
caller to call back from an unblocked number for example. Known
telemarketers might receive another message....

I did a quick search on google, but didn't find anything.

I'm not aware of anything that will allow outlook t o operate as an
answering machine, except for WinFax's answering system, but it doesn't work
well with Outlook.

Does anyone know if there is an API for voice modems? Any sample C# code? I
know someone who may be interested in a project like this.

I think TAPI covers it...
