Hello!

I have a problem synchronizing my Calendar and the Address book between
Outlook 2003 and Outlook Web Access. I have the account settings and the
mail server is IMAP. Does it meat that it is impossible to synchronize the
Calendar and the Address book? If my web access to the acount is trough
Outlook Web Access does it mean that it is on Exchange Server or it is not
necessary like that?

Thank you in advance for any information that might help.

Alex

I think that OWA is solely for access to Exchange Server mailboxes & public
folders.

If you accessing Exchange via an IMAP account in Outlook (not using an
Exchange account) Outlook's Calendar has no connection to Exchange and
therefore cannot see the contents of the Exchange Calendar, which is what
OWA is showing you. The same goes for the Contacts folder. Why are you
accesing Exchange via IMAP in Outlook?

If they do not allow direct access how can I save my calendar events or my
contacts and to import them in my home computer? There is no export option
in the OWA.

Not sure if there's a way to export if you don't have direct access
(non-OWA) access.

I can access the folders but I see the items like mail objects not like
Calndar appointments or tasks.

Well, yes, but IMAP is a mail protocol and treats everything as mail. Even
if you were to create a PST and a calendar folder in that PST and then drag
one of those mail-appearing items from the IMAP calendar folder, it loses
quite a bit of information like start time, end time, and things like that.
