Outlook 2003 and Gmail

I am able to send and receive messages to and from my Hotmail account within
Outlook. As far as I can remember the Hotmail account was somehow set up in
Outlook automatically.

Is it possible to do the same with Gmail? - if so, how do you get it
established. I assume you have to set up an account for Gmail - if so - what
is the correct URL to use in the account?
