Outlook 2002

A workstation that is using Outlook 2002 has an issue when it tries to reply
to a message that contains an attachement.
When the send button is clicked a message "Micrsoft Word - Unspecified
Error" appears. It will not send. We try to exit and a question appears: "do
you want to save changes?" We reply yes, and the same error appears: "
Microsoft Word - Unspecified Error". The only work around is to copy the
texct to the clipboard and then Paste it into a new message.
Any thoughts?

Have you checked the application event viewer for any issues? If there are,
please post the event ID number and source.
Try to: run a detect and repair from the help menu (you may need the office
disk for that).
Try to: while Outlook is closed, rename the outcmd.dat and *.srs files.
Try to: check to see if there are any add-ons, COMs, etc.
Is the user running any synch software (for a Palm perhaps).
