Outlook 2002(xp) emails not showing up.

New Emails Not showing up until i click on another folder within outlook,
anyone have this issue, if so were you able to fix it? and if you did what
did you do.

Start/settings/control panel/windows firewall/exceptions/add program
find outlook.exe and add it.

Well, without you telling us what TYPE of e-mail account you are asking
about, my guess is that you are using an Exchange account. The problem
is the UDP packets sent by the Exchange server are not reaching your
host. NAT routers, switches, or other devices in your network might be
blocking delivery of those UDP packets. Try disabling cached Exchange
mode in Outlook. That fixes several problems and reverts Outlook back
into using a polling mode to determine when you have new messages.
