Outlook 2002 Unexpected Error

Have been using XP, Outlook 02 and ACT 06 together for years with no problems. Tested the latest version of ACT, using Outlook as ACT mail client. Did not like ACT, uninstalled it. Now when I try to send an email from within Outlook using an Outlook distribution list, I get the "unexpected error has occurred" message (only when using distribution list). I suspect that somehow my data file (whatever/wherever that is) got corrupted.

Your help with this will be greatly appreciated.

You know, after version 6, Act became the slowest, buggiest piece of junk out
there. End of editorial comment.
The next steps would be deleting and making a new profile, if that doesn't
do it, re-install outlook.

DLW..Thanks....the new profile fixed the problem. Yes Act 08 is no better than 06. What I cannot believe is how DUMB Outlook is. I won't go into it though
