outlook 2002 template

i need to create an auto-respond of sorts
template...however after i crate my email in text format
and go to save as, "outlook template" is not an option,
only document template. If i save it as that, outlook
will not let me choose it when i'm setting up the rule.

Any ideas?

you are using word mail - look on the actions menu, new mail using...
outlook (html) or disable word as the editor in tools, options, mail format.
