Outlook 2002 TASKS

I am trying to add a blank row in tasks to enter data.
Every time I enter data the row saves the data and I
loose the "blank row" How can I keep this balnk. It was
there and I lossed it?

Check View | Current View | Customize Current View | Other Settings

Do you have the New Item Row option selected?
