Outlook 2002 SP3 Personal folders problem

Hi
I have my new computer. I had saved my old outlook .pst so I pasted it into
the directory where it belongs.
I had (obviously) a problem with Outlook. So I erased this first personal
folder called "Contacts" by Outlook.
I did this twice!!! I KNOW IT IS A MISTAKE
so
I created a new personal folder and IMPORTED the .pst file and everything
seemed to be OK but I have now the following problem. I have THREE Contacts,
two empty and one with my data... The empty ones I can see when pressing
CTRL-SHIFT-B (called Libreta de direcciones so I guess its agenda en inglish)
and the last Contacts has all my data in it. I am able to see them in the
Outlook Contact but UNABLE to erase the two empty ones... (as I erased the
..pst from which they were created because i made a copy of the .pst before
tampering with it and imported through these copies that are now erased)
HOW DO I PROCEED to erase these two Contacts entries???? No way to do it so
I guess they must be in the Registry somewhere.

Is there a way to COMPLETELY wipe all the info of OUTLOOK and do it all
again? Hopefully without reinstalling the software because it would be a mess.

Thanks a lot,

Thomas

Assuming you still have an intact copy of the old pst;
Copy this to a location on your hd, it doesnt have to be the default
location, if you copy it to the default location do NOT overwrite any
existing pst.
Then with OL closed use the mail applet in the control panel to create a new
profile, set it to prompt for profile, or allways use this one, add a data
file by browsing to the location of your 'old pst'
Create accounts test, then open OL.
You may have to reset Contacts to be used as an address book.

Niether Import or Export is the reccommended method of moving data in a pst
to another pst.
