Outlook 2002 SP3 Autofill Email Address Problems

I like the autofill funcion in outlook, however, it appears that the autofill
storage space is limited to about 200 email addresses or less. I just did a
big mail merge email to some new customers and then after doing this those
email addresses replaced those email addresses that normally show up in the
autofill, which is creating a huge headache for me now as I have to go and
look up old emails to find email addresses of people I want to contact more
regularlly. Is there anyway to increase the memory size or is there
something else I can do, or is this just a outlook flaw?

You missed it by a fivefold margin.
The autocompletion cache stores 1000 names before it starts culling (FIFO).

Can I expand that list? 1000 is still not enough. I think I sent out 1000
emails by mail merge last week. Which obviously created a problem for the
normal emails I send. Is there anyway to bring those back or increase the
size?

Thanks

No to both. Won't change in Outlook 2003 or 2007.
Obvious solution is to turn off autocomplete before you do large mail merges
if you don't want to cache those addresses.

HI Russ,

If, by chance you are working for Microsoft, please make this suggestion.
The autocomplete cache is not big enough especially for businesses, I would
like to see the user be able to set that manually, up to say 10,000+
addresses.

Thanks!

Hi Russ,

Unfortunately the "Make a suggestion" link does not exist. I have searched
all through the contact us site and cannot find anything related, even on
secondary levels...
