Outlook 2002 .pst files

I am using Windows 98 - and was a user of Outlook Express - their personal
folders are named .dbx files.
I am now using Outlook 2002 - Can Outlook convert the old .dbx files from
Outlook Express to its own .pst files???

Outlook should be able to import from OE but you might be best served
exporting from OE to Outlook using OE's File menu > Export command

First you have to get Outlook Express to recognize the DBX files, if it
doesn't already. Assuming you have OE configured already, then start it,
click FIle>Export>Messages and it will send all the folders and messages to
Outlook. Also, in Outlook, you can click Tools>Import and Export>Import
Internet Mail Account Settings to pull in from OE any accounts yuo have
defined there and FIle>Import and Export>Import Internet Mail and Addresses
to import OE's contacts and rules into OL. Don't import the messages this
way, though. Use the export from OE I mentioned above.
