Outlook 2002: program trying to open email addresses

Rusty Williamson

Hello,

For some reason a warning has started poping up anytime I try to send an
email or sync my palm pilot. It says that a program is trying to access my
email addresses and asks me if I wish to allow or block this action.

I've scanned for viruses and spy/ad-ware with the latest Norton and nothing
has been found. I've reinstalled Outlook, the Palm Desktop. I have
searched the MS KB but found nothing.

Has anyone else seen this or know anything about this problem or what I
might do?

Thanks!
Rusty

Synching might do it. See if there is updated software that bypasses the
security prompt.
you shouldn't get it while sending email. You need to determine if any
applications or add-ins installed might be doing this. It really does sound
like a virus or spyware etc. Maybe scan with something other than Norton.
