outlook 2002 data files not properly closed

I use Outlook 2002 and I keep getting a message about Data Files not closing
properly and being checked for errors. I can only find details on this
happening in Outlook 2003. Do you know how I can stop this happening? It is
always 'Personal Folders' or Archive Folders.
 
Personal folders and archive folders are Outlook data files. There could be
many things holding the personal folders open such as fax software, synch
software (for a handheld), antivirus that scans your incoming/outgoing email,
antispam software, etc. Also check for COMs and Add Ins.
