Outlook 2002 calendar update

My calendar stops at June 2006. Is there an update or a change to extend the
calendar past this date?

What do you mean "stops"? Are you saying you can't advance the date past
the end of June?
 
Just click on the down arrow below the scroll bar on the right-hand side of
the calendar. Even though the scroll bar looks like it's at the bottom, you
can still "scroll down" to dates later than June 2006 using that down arrow.
