Outlook 2002 auto inserting email address - Is there a fix?

Molto

When I use Outlook 2002 to attach a document, spreadsheet or presentation
to an email message, Outlook sticks four items in the document's File |
Properties | Custom dialog box. They're called:

_AdHocReviewCycleID
_AuthorEmail
_AuthorEmailDisplayName
_EmailSubject

I see this as an invasion of my privacy. how can I stop Outlook and all
other office XP products from doing this?

You can control the "Automatic Review" option off in Outlook by going
to Tools/Options/Preferences/Email Options/Advanced Email Options and
turning off "Add properties to attachments to enable Reply with
Changes"

Here is an article which contains more information on this "feature"
(also note the update at the bottom of the article if you are
concerned about privacy):
http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/Pub0009/LPMArticle.asp?ID=107

Additionally this option has been turned off by default in Outlook
2003. :)

Beth,

Thanks for the help. I think that will fix the cause but do you have any
idea how to find and clean all my documents without having to open and
resave each one? I'm hoping there is a tool to remove the data for me.

Regards

Molto
