My WM5.0 Pockect PC device synchronizes with Outlook 2002 via Activesync 4.1
in a PC running WINXP SP2.

I will be changing devices and it will using WM6/Activesync 4.5.

My question is can I retain my Outlook 2002 and use Activesync 4.5 to
synchronize by contacts, calendar, etc. with my WM6 device?

Thank you

Thanks for your reply.

However, the link shows that Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 are supported. If
I may quoute:

"System Requirements

Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000 Service Pack 4; Windows Server
2003 Service Pack 1; Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 for Itanium-based
Systems; Windows Server 2003, Standard x64 Edition; Windows XP Media Center
Edition; Windows XP Professional x64 Edition ; Windows XP Service Pack 1;
Windows XP Service Pack 2; Windows XP Tablet PC Edition
Microsoft® Outlook® XP, Microsoft® Outlook® 2003 or Microsoft Outlook 2007®
messaging and collaboration clients required for synchronization to the
desktop or portable computer of e-mail, calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes.
(Outlook 2007 is recommended)
Microsoft® Office XP, Microsoft® Office 2003, or Microsoft® Office 2007
Microsoft® Internet Explorer 6. or later (required)
Microsoft® Systems Management Server 2.0"

Are the 2002 and 2003 versions nearly the same in terms of compatibility
with AS4.5?

Thanks again
