Outlook 2002 and problems with calendar

A friend of mine is running Outlook 2002 and syncing with her blackberry.
Recently she noticed a problem with the syncing of the calendar.

Looking closer into Outlook it seems to be having problems with adding new
appts. e.g. I go to a specific date and time that shows nothing in Outlook
and add a new appt. Outlook reports "Conflicts with another appointment on
your Calendar" but it doesn't show the conflict.

I can add the appt and it shows but the "conflicting" one doesn't. If I
edit the appt I get the conflict message again.

How can I find the conflict and fix it up?

As well, she tells me that appts that have been recurring for some time have
suddenly stopped being recurring.

I also see another date that is not bolded in the little calendar display
but the day itself is showing an appt.

She is running the latest patches for Windows and Office

It looks like the PST file is corrupt somehow but I tried running SCANPST
but it reported no errors

Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated

Hi,

- I reset the view with no difference

- I don't see a view specifically named 'Table View'. I have tried the
other views available (Day/Week/Month, Day/Week/Month with AutoPreview,
Active Appointments, Events, Annual Events, Recurring Appointments, and By
Category). None show the conflicting appt. If I create two appts at the
same time now for that same datetime, they do show up side by side. There
just seems to be a hidden one in there as well.

- She was syncing using the Blackberry Desktop Manager

- Note that no weekend appt seems to be bolded. Perhaps the Date Navigator
doesn't bold weekends regardless?

Thanks

Richard
