Is it possible to use Outlook 2002 for newsgroups instead
of Outlook Express? We would like to get rid of Outlook
express if possible.

Hi Christian,
You might want to use outlook express for newsgroup in outlook, than you
don't have to open outlook express.
In outlook, view |go to |news

Why do you "HAVE TO" use Outlook Express for newsgroups at all? Why not
use dedicated newsreader software, such as Agent or Gravity? Both of
them are great newsreaders. There is a free version of Agent, and
Gravity is free. However, I would wait till Agent goes to version 2.0.
It will be making many needed improvements in the upcoming version.

Get Agent here:

Get MicroPlanet Gravity here:

If you don't like those, try here:
