Greetings!
At my work computer I have Windows XP Professional with Outlook 2002. I also
have two address books; my "Personal Address Book" and "Global Address List"
of the company.
I get loads of junk mail daily and that's why I created some rules:
I have rule that moves mail to "01" folder if the sender is in my Personal
Address Book, and another rule to handle the mail similarly if the sender is
in the Global Address List. So the mail from unknown sender stays in the
Inbox. These rules doesn't work!
So I add Junk Senders rule with an exception; if the sender is in my
Personal Address Book the message is not moved to Deleted Items folder but
that 01-folder. And same thing if the sender is in the Global Address List
(another rule).
Well, messages from my friends are still moved to Deleted items folder and
messages from the companys Global Address List are duplicated to 01-folder
and another copy stays in Inbox (there is "move" exception NOT copy)!
So why is Outlook doing this? Thank you for any advice!
