My computer was hosed after downloading various Windows
patches (Windows 98, 2nd Ed.). I've fixed everything
except two items--

1. In Outlook 2000, I can no longer customize Outlook
Today (I want to set it as the default when I start up and
I want to show 7 days of Calendar). It's currently in
Winter. I click the button at the bottom marked Customize
Outlook Today, but nothing happens.

2. My Toshiba Laptop will no longer shut down. Despite
selecting Shut Down, it just restarts.

I'd appreciate help.

Can't help with the laptop problem; it could be lots of things -- you
might want to repost in a Windows forum. For the Outlook Today issue,
the fix can be found here:
