Outlook 2000 - How to Backup Contacts ?

I have XP Pro SP2 and use Outlook 2000 solely for Contact details.

This data , I understand , is contained in a file called "
contacts.pst "

If I search for this file it is not found even though I have all Files
and Folders set to visible.

I use an Application called "Second Copy " to back up all data files
which I have arranged to be placed in the D partiton - all
Applications being placed in the C partition together with the System
files and OP.

How do I arrange for the contact data of Outlook to be backed up each
day into the D partition , please ?

Hi,

Try to search for *.pst (most cases outlook.pst), it's the general data file
of Outlook and contains your contacts, mails, calendar, ...
You can also export only your contacts, choose File, Imort and export,
Export to a file, personal map (pst) (or something like this) and you can
choose what to export and to where.

Grtz,

Go re-check the location of you mail store file - properties of the top
level mail folder and go to advanced settings. The full path to the
file will be in there....
