Outlook 2000 Contact Activites Tracking Slow Search

When tracking activities for my contacts in Outlook 2000 looking up the
activities for a contact is very slow because Outlook searches for the items
each time. I understand I can speed this process by limiting which folders it
searches. I would prefer to keep track of all items. Is there anyway to keep
the search results (an index) so it only searches for new items?

Sue - Does Outlook 2003 do what I want? Would the Outlook 2003 with Business
Contact Manager do it? Thanks. Mike

Activities work the same in all versions of Outlook. BCM uses a different
contact history tracking method. You may or may not prefer it, because it
requires you to create all non-message linked items directly from the
contact, instead of letting you create the item, then link it to the
contact.
