Hi,
Is Outlook 2003 compatable with 2000? I have a user use Outlook 2003 normally and tried to open his mailbox in another computer using Outlook 2000. Outlook opened already but when he tried to add a new contact, Outlook didn't allow him to save the new contact. Is this a compatibility issue?

There are issues when you open a mailbox with both ol2003 and ol2000 but I'm not aware of it causing this type of problem. Is outlook 2000 fully updated? What did the error message say?

If it uses a PST file that was created with Outlook 2003 in OL2003
format, it cannot be opened with a previous version of Outlook.

You should create a backwards compatible PST file if you want to share
it with previous Outlook versions. (However, this PST file will be
limited to 2GB in size.)
