Outlook(1)(1).pst - cannot copy, move & outlook cannot send or rec

Hi out there - I can send 'test' and all works fine - manually (or auto) send
or receive and I get "Cannot access Outlook(1)(1).pst, file in use and could
not be accessed. Close any applications etc..." Then I search all files and
find the *.pst in the right place (under Application Data\Microsoft etc.)
Try to copy the file to a safe place (another drive and get "Cannot
copyOutlook(1)(1) data error. Cycle redundancy check etc...." Backed up all
and sundry, with Genie Soft, unisntalled and reinstalled Outlook. Believe it
- it came up with the same folders WAB etc and never actually removed the
program! Go figure. I uninstalled Office Professional 2003 completely then
reinstalled and same again. Outlook still takes 5 mninutes to open, all data
the same, all problems the same. PLEASE help...!!! I am loosing business
....
