Outlook 07 - Lost my "sent" folders! Help Please

Hi All

I am new to the forum and wonder if anyone can help. I have MS Office 2007 and have used Outlook 07 on my laptop for about a year - Not sure if this has anything to do with the problem but I no longer use a provider as I am currently traveelling and only use my hotmail and Gmail accounts.

I opened Outlook today to look for a mail I had sent and ALL my sent mails / folders ar gone! I checked in the archive (as Outlook periodically auto archives) but they have all gone as well!!

I am desperate to recover my mails as well as understand where (and why) they have gone!!

What type of account did you have from your "provider" ? Did you remove that
account from your profile or add hotmail and gmail to a new profile?

Hi

I had a provider in Australia - I am now in the USA - my (ex)provider cancelled my account last week. I thought all my sent mails were stored locally on my laptop?

Do I need to contact my provider to re-instate my "sent" mails?
