Outlook 07 can't view/save FXM file type

I am using WinXP pro and Office 07 with all the updates. We have a WinFAX
pro server which emails me all incoming FAXes (*.FXM) . Then I and view
and/or save and file away as needed. But since the recent Office SP1 update
I am not able to view or save this file type. I have done some searching
which led me to change some "Group Policy" settings and the "Level1remove"
key but I still can't view or save this file type.

any suggestions?
 
What do you mean with "can't"? Do you get an error message?
fxm-files are not blocked by Outlook and should not be added to the
Level1Remove registry key.
 
Right after I posted my question I knew I forgot the error message, sorry.
The error message is:

Cannot create file: EMAIL002.FXM. Right-click the folder you want to
create the file in, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu to check
your permissions for the folder.

I get this wheather I try to "open" or "save" to any disc or folder.
